Using the Forum

Simple Machine Forums Modification Add-ons
We have included some neat features to enhance the overall functionality of TFC.  These features would be added [or removed ] from time to time.  Here's a quick guide:

A) TFC Simple Awards [Beta Run] - To make things more fun, members are now allowed to present award(s) to others by going to that member's profile to click "Show Awards".  There are 20 make-believe award categories to accord.  Please use them sparingly and only when it describes the member well. 

Use and only use the following awards (and their meaning) accordingly:

- Best Rookie
- Chatter
- Contributor
- Courage
- Design
- Discipline
- Dutiful
- Excellence
- Friend of TFC
- Integrate
- Leadership
- Loyal
- Membership
- Merit
- Partner
- Poster (Threads)
- Publicity
- Speed
- Support
- Valour

Instructions/Notes:
1. Save a copy of the image onto your computer.
2. When prompted, name the award to be the same as the filename and upload.
3. Only one award type should be accorded to each different member (i.e. no two awards from the same person). 
4. Members found abusing the Simple Awards Scheme will be barred from using it in future. 
5. This is on a trial basis implemented in the name of fun so can you think of someone and the value(s) he/she represents? 


B) Reputation System [Beta Run] - Below the Avatar of each member is a (heart icon) except for yourself.  Click on it to express your views.

Features
o Reputation sent is now based on the giver's reputation.
o Popup box can be activated in posts wherein reputation can be sent with a comment.
o Members can view their own reputation by going to their profiles.
o Reputation can be given per post, per thread, on account birthday, and on registration.
o Try it!



Navigating TFC

Use the navigation bar located on top to enter

Home -  main portal page.
Forum - hold your discussions here.
Help - go to help if you ever need any.
Arcade - not in use.
Search - self-explanatory
Profile - change your user account setting and profile etc.
My Messages - a complimentary Inbox for your private messages.
Members - Members' profiles.
Gallery/Media - not in use.
Logout - please reminder to log out when using public terminals or computers on a temporary basis.
